Cooler, breezy weather for Long Island to end the week

Have a heavier coat to start on both Thursday and Friday because it will feel like the upper 30s each morning!

We are finally in a nicer stretch of weather that will last another four days before some rain showers return early next week.
You should be prepared for chillier mornings and cooler afternoons over the next two days. Highs on Thursday and Friday will be in the 50s to low 60s at best. The normal average high temperature now is 64 degrees.
There will be a slight warmup for the weekend, and any fall outdoor activities will be fine weather-wise both Saturday and Sunday.
While we are not expecting a great fall foliage season, there is some low to moderate color across Long Island now. If you see any trees that look nice, please send us a photo on social media!
