Two Huntington men are facing charges for allegedly posing as police officers and robbing a young couple.
Police say Rony Compere, 34, and Sherod Daniels, 28, approached the teenaged couple on Long Island Avenue and 16th Street in Deer Park Wednesday morning. Investigators say the victims were forcibly searched and robbed.
Compere and Daniels are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
