Two firefighters were injured battling a two-alarm fire in Woodmere overnight. According to officials, everyone else in the home was evacuated safely.

The fire began around 10:15 p.m. at 234 Mosher Ave.

Video showed dozens of first responders on the scene as flames ripped through parts of the home.

The house sustained moderate smoke, fire and water damage throughout the home.

The home next door at 230 Mosher Ave. also suffered heat damage but it appears firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the second home.

Still, code officers condemned both homes, preventing anyone from entering or staying there for the time being.

The two injured firefighters declined medical treatment.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives responded to the scene. The cause of the fire is undetermined but officials are not deeming it suspicious at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
