The producer of the controversial new TWA Flight 800 documentary spoke with News 12 Long Island's Drew Scott.
Using the input of former National Transportation Safety Board investigators, Dr. Thomas Stalcup's documentary claims an external explosion brought down the aircraft.
"It was the most brazen cover-up in history," said Stalcup. "A missile did cause this crash."
The explosion off East Moriches claimed the lives of all 230 on board, including 12 from Long Island.
The TV documentary will air on July 17, the anniversary of the TWA 800 disaster.
