A special holiday mission is now underway to brighten the holidays for America's service members.
Trees for Troops has provided Christmas trees to troops for years and this year is no different.
Troops serving abroad will receive Christmas trees and decorations courtesy of a Dee's Nursery, which has hosted this annual event for 17 years.
Each year, the Oceanside garden center ships hundreds of Christmas trees to U.S. bases around the world.
This year's event is a little smaller due to COVID-19, but that's not stopping any of them from spreading holiday cheer.
The trees and decorations are already on their way to John F. Kennedy International Airport.
