Police say a tractor-trailer overturned on the William Floyd Parkway just south of the Long Island Expressway in Shirley.

The rig overturned around 2 a.m., spilling lumber and construction material onto the roadway.

A large amount of diesel fuel from truck also leaked out onto the roadway and into nearby storm drains.
All southbound lanes on the LIE were shut down while the cleanup took place. They have since reopened.

There is no word on what caused the accident.

No injuries have been reported.
