A tractor-trailer crash caused traffic delays on I-295 North in Lawrence Township early Monday morning.
New information released by New Jersey State Troopers says the driver apparently lost directional control of the truck overnight, struck a Ford and then both vehicles hit the left guardrail near mile marker 66.
After the collision, the freightliner caught on fire.
Officials say there were no injuries reported at the scene.
Heavy rainfall moved through parts of the area overnight, but officials have not said whether weather played a role in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
