A new program in the Town of North Hempstead is designed to help prevent storm water pollution. 

The campaign called "Only Rain in the Drain" includes new rain-activated sidewalk art depicting the campaign's logo.

The art will be inside town parks and other locations.

Town officials hope it helps raise awareness that whatever goes down the drain also goes into our waterways.
