The plan to charge commuters for premium parking at some LIRR stations has been scrapped.
Town of Oyster Bay officials are abandoning the plan. 
The plan would have set aside 852 spaces at four Long Island Rail Road lots for $100 a month "premium parking."
The town says it received an overwhelming number of complaints from residents about the proposal.
