The Town of Oyster Bay is ready and waiting for the season's next snowfall.
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto says town workers are gearing up to clear snow that may fall early this week. He says because the winter has so far been mild, he?s not anticipating any financial crisis. The town still has $1.5 million in its snow removal budget.
If and when snow begins to fall, Venditto says trucks begin spreading sand and salt. But once snowfall reaches 3 inches, plow trucks hit the roads and take over.
