Town officials announced a $3 million grant for a new sewer connection in Central Islip.
It is expected to help develop a more diversified range of businesses, provide the capability to attack and build those that are reliant on sewer connectivity.
Construction is expected to start at the beginning of 2023 and last for around 18 months.
