Parents in need were able to go toy shopping for their children without spending a dime, thanks to a community effort.
For the past 30 years, the Town of Huntington has paired with major companies and community groups to pay for toys for needy families.
On Monday, parents were able to get two toys of their choice, plus stocking stuffers, during the event at the Tri-Community Youth Agency. There were more than 6,000 toys for over 1,100 participating families.
Volunteers wrapped each toy so it could go directly under the tree.
The Town of Huntington uses the leftover gifts during the year to give to children in need.
