Two teenagers accused of threatening a 7-Eleven worker with knife were arrested Friday in Bethpage, according to police.

Authorities say a 14 and 15-year-old boy entered the store on Stewart Avenue, took several items and then attempted to leave without paying.

The 15-year-old displayed a knife when a worker confronted them.

The teens fled the scene on foot but were located a short time later by police.

Authorities say they are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
