A teen is recovering after he was shot one block from a school in Uniondale.
Police say they found the unidentified teen with a gunshot wound at the intersection of Davis and Clinton avenues around 2:30 p.m. yesterday.
The location is a block north of the Northern Parkway Elementary School.
The elementary school was locked down for about an hour while police investigated. The teen was not seriously hurt.
