2h agoA teen on an e-bike was seriously hurt when a driver hit him, Suffolk police say.
The 13-year-old boy was riding on Hawkins Avenue near School Street, around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, when he was hit. The driver fled the scene.
Police tell News 12 the vehicle that fled the scene was a 2012 white Ford Fusion.
The teen was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
