One of the three Suffolk teens accused of rape and robbery in a Greenlawn park attack was arraigned Wednesday.
Police say Justin McDonald, 18, of Greenlawn, along with two teen accomplices forced three teenagers into a secluded area of Frazer Park Tuesday morning, robbed them and repeatedly raped the female victim. The victims were allegedly tied up as well.
Assistant District Attorney Elena Tomaro says the teens were carrying baseball bats and a handgun during the attack. Prosecutors say they have a confession in the case.
?It was a vicious attack by three predators waiting to victimize three teenagers,? Tomaro says. ?Three teenagers coming out of the park. Minding their own business, were being waited for by three individuals with baseball bats and a handgun.?
McDonald was charged with robbery, rape and committing a criminal sexual act. Brothers Anthony, 19, and Patrick Minkeson, 18, will be arraigned Thursday.
