It?s no secret that Long Islanders pay hefty school taxes. But are our schools breaking the law and throwing cash in the trash?
News 12 Long Island has learned that many districts are breaking the law and not recycling. Environmentalists say recycling has been the law since 1988. However, it was found that many districts are throwing recyclables out with the regular trash.
