An East End teacher who is also an assistant fire chief is accused of driving drunk and leaving the scene of an accident. 
Police say David McKillop crashed his department-issued vehicle into several street signs Saturday and took off.
The incident happened on Route 25 and Tuckers Lane in Southold. 
The 55-year-old Aquebogue man is a volunteer at Jamesport Fire Department and a teacher at Riverhead High School.
