A taxi driver allegedly blew a red light and struck a motorcyclist early Monday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of Route 112 and Route 25 in Coram around 7 a.m.
Police say driver Mindy Shaw, of Lindy's Taxi, ran a red light and hit Jack Monti on his Honda motorcycle.
They say the Monti, of Mastic, suffered serious leg injuries.
Shaw was issued a ticket for running the red light.
