A Syosset man is facing multiple charges after allegedly entering a home without permission, getting into an argument with its residents, and striking one of them with a chair.
According to detectives, officers responded to a reported burglary at a residence around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Jason He, of Loretta Drive, is accused of entering a home on Kathleen Drive East, approximately a half-mile away, through an unlocked rear door.
Once inside, police said He became involved in a dispute with a 57-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman. During the altercation, He allegedly struck the man in the chest with a chair.
He then fled the scene, and the victim immediately called 911.
Police later located and arrested He.
He is charged with burglary, attempted assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon.
