A teacher from Long Island won his first game of Jeopardy!
Syosset High School social studies teacher Daniel Whol played on Wednesday night’s show.
Whol took down four-day champion Matthew Marcus when he doubled his money in the "Double-Jeopardy" round.
His wager and correct answer to the final clue in the "European cities" category put him over the top for a total of $26,799.
