The family of a Long Islander killed in Nepal is calling for a full investigation into her sudden death.

Bhoomika Kochhar died a month ago while living in Nepal with her husband and his family.

Bhoomika's family says there are questions that have not been answered by the government.

According to the family, she shared with her parents the abuses she endured while living in Nepal. In addition, she also told her family she was planning to divorce her husband.

Bhoomika's family contacted Rep. Steve Israel, who says he is pressuring the Nepal government and will not be satisfied until a full investigation into her death is completed.

Israel says he has been in contact with ambassadors in the states and in Nepal and will call every day until he is sure all questions have been answered.
