Police are searching for those responsible for scrawling symbols of hate in Suffolk County.

Officials say swastikas and racial slurs were spray-painted on fences, mailboxes and cars at several homes in Coram.

The incident happened in the overnight hours from Oct. 29 into Oct. 30.

Anyone with information is urged to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
