Neighbors in Easton are disturbed after vulgar language and symbols of hate were found spray painted in their area.
Green swastikas were found scrawled on traffic signs and a boulder. Foul language was also spray painted.
Easton police offered no comment on the graffiti. It's not clear if there's any connection between the swastikas and other vandalism also involving spray paint.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal says because the message is one of hate, the penalty for it can go beyond a misdemeanor and become a felony.
Easton officials did not respond to News 12's requests for comment Saturday.
Some residents are calling for a town meeting to be held to discuss the issue.
