Neighbors of a Manorville man who was stabbed to death in a suspected domestic dispute say they are in shock.
Neighbor Daniel Morrison saw a woman running from the house at 68 Orchard St. Saturday. Morrison walked across the street where he found 42-year-old Ray Buonanno dead with a knife wound to his heart. According to Morrison, Buonanno?s wife, Carol Lynn was slumped over him alive with stab wounds. She remains hospitalized at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
While neighbors say the couple had argued before, they never thought the situation would end deadly. John Guidice says the couple fought earlier in the day. Buonanno was heard yelling about his wife trying to take away his kids. Neighbors say the couple?s two young children were at home during the incident.
Police have not released information on their investigation.
