Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a suspected jewelry thief.
The suspect has been identified as Manual Vargas Peralta.
Detectives say he took more than $3,000 worth of jewelry from a Jericho home back on Feb. 27.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
