Police are searching for the suspect involved in a high priced smash and grab jewelry heist in the Hamptons.
According to police, a man smashed a display case at Rose Jewelers on Main Street in Southampton Village on Monday afternoon and took off with a $20,000 necklace. He fled on a bicycle.
The incident happened around 4:15 p.m. while two employees and the owner were in the building, police say. No one was hurt.
Southampton police are asking anyone with information to call them.
