A man was arrested after two teens were injured in a stabbing at a high school homecoming game in Suffolk on Saturday.
Investigators say 21-year-old Gensis Foster, of West Babylon, stabbed the two teens when a fight broke out behind the bleachers at the Wyandanch High School football game Saturday night. Foster, who also goes by the name Kaurron, allegedly dropped a pocket knife as the fled the scene on foot and was later arrested.
Malik Harrison, 17, and Kymel Sims, 18, both of North Amityville, suffered stab wounds to the back and torso. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening, and they are listed in stable condition at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Foster was arraigned today and was ordered held on $100,000 cash bail or $300,000 bond. He is due back in court on Oct. 24.
Wyandanch School District officials say the incident had nothing to do with the game, but say they will add additional security for their remaining games.
The stabbing happened less than 24 hours after another man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a teen at a different high school football game. That incident happened Friday night at Half Hollow Hills High School East in Dix Hills.
