It was 80 years ago today the Japanese attacked
Pearl Harbor.
United States veterans who were there and survived
the attack are returning to Hawaii today for memorial ceremonies.
Many of these military heroes are now 100 years old or older.
It was early on a Sunday morning on Dec. 7, 1941
that Japanese planes dropped bombs on America's fleet of battle ships.
More than 2,400 people died.
The attack led to the U.S. entering World War II.
