Survey reveals growing number of NY teens smoke e-cigs
A 2014 survey revealed that an alarming number of teenagers in New York are smoking e-cigarettes.
The youth and adult tobacco survey revealed that 10 ½ percent of high school students said they smoke electronic cigarettes, that's compared to nearly 13 percent of young adults.
Six-and-a half percent of adults 25 years and older said they smoke e-cigs.
Experts say e-cigarettes are not safe. They say the products contain nicotine, and that people can easily become addicted to them.
They say e-cigs may seem like a fun and safe alternative to cigarettes, but they are not.
