A rare phenomenon in the sky had Long Islanders looking up early this morning.
People got a glimpse at the rare super blue blood moon that has not been seen by much of the world for more than 150 years.

It's the combination of a "super moon" - which is when the moon is closer to earth in its orbit, a "blue moon" - the second full moon of the month, and a "blood moon" - when the moon passes through the earth's shadow for a total lunar eclipse.
