SUNY Oneonta student Tyler Giancola, of Westhampton, suffers life-threatening injury after fight in downtown Oneonta

A college student from Long Island is in critical condition today after he was beaten during a fight. Oneonta police say they got a call about the fight around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in downtown Oneonta.

A college student from Long Island is in critical condition today after he was beaten during a fight.
Oneonta police say they got a call about the fight around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in downtown Oneonta.
They say 21-year-old SUNY Oneonta student Tyler Giancola, of Westhampton, suffered a life- threatening injury.
Police arrested 18-year-old SUNY Oswego student Joseph Schof, of Orange County.
There is no word what started the fight.
