Students at SUNY Maritime took part in the annual Polar Plunge on Tuesday. Dozens of students jumped into the ice-cold water at Olivet Pier to help fundraise for several clubs and activities on campus. "It's a de-stressor for the students here during their Maritime finals week," said John Celentani, student activities coordinator at Suny Maritime. "It really helps them...bond together and enjoy the weather in the all time season." This was part of the annual event organized by Maritime Activities and Programs (MAP). Students, faculty staff, alumni and parents participated in the event.
