News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says temperatures will be in the mid-70s through Saturday before rain and a cooldown hit Long Island
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-More warm weather ahead with record highs again on Saturday.
-Light showers arrive Sunday afternoon with some wet weather through Monday. A big cool down arrives for Halloween with temperatures topping out in the low 50's. A front will be just south of Long Island so we'll have to watch it to see if clouds or some rain sneak back into the picture late in the day
 
OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy and mild with lows near 55 degrees. Light southwest winds. Sunrise: 7:17
FRIDAY: Warm with sun and clouds. Highs near 75. West southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunset: 5:55
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and warm with highs near 76. Mostly cloudy and mild at night with lows near 55.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with the chance for light rain showers Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. Highs near 64. Lows near 54.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers likely. Cooler with highs near 57. Lows near 42.
