STORM WATCH: The outlook for December is stormy. Here is an early look

- It's cool, can and clear this morning. Temperatures are in the 50s.
- We have another spectacular day ahead of us. Today will be mild with filtered sunshine. Highs are in the low 70s with lows in the 50s.
- It stays dry and comfortable through tomorrow with near seasonable temperatures in the 70s.
- The Autumnal Equinox officially begins tomorrow September 22nd at 2:19PM. On the Autumnal equinox, the sun crosses over the equator marking the start of astronomical Fall. This results in nearly equal day and night in the northern hemisphere.
- A frontal system will bring a chance of showers/storms on Tuesday evening into Wednesday. A secondary storm system moves in late this week bringing more rain chances. The rain is welcome as we're currently seeing abnormally dry conditions across the Long Island. It's still too soon to tell the exact impacts and timing with this storm. Stay tuned for updates!
