WHAT'S NEW: Small chance for showers Saturday morning, most of the rain will be south of Long Island and it looks like we're trending drier. The chance for showers Monday is also diminishing
WHAT'S NEXT: A summer feel on Long Island through the start of the weekend. Nice, seasonable weather follows through much of next week. 
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and mild with lows near 52. Southwest to west wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:39
THURSDAY: Sunny and warm! Highs near 78. West to southwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Sunset: 8:00
THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear and mild with lows near 56. West wind 5 mph. 
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny with some late day clouds. Becoming mostly cloudy at night with the slight chance of a passing shower by Saturday morning. Highs near 79. Lows near 58.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy in the morning with the chance of a few showers then becoming partly sunny for the afternoon. Highs near 73. Lows near 55.
SUNDAY: Sunny and nice! Highs near 58. Lows near 52.
