News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Craig Allen says some storms are possible for the holiday weekend.
An air quality alert has been extended through 12 a.m. Saturday.
NEW: Air Quality is improving. We're better Saturday and good by Sunday.
NOW: Hazy and mainly dry.
NEXT: Saturday is the pick of the weekend. On-and-off rain is expected for Sunday and Monday. Moderate Risk for Rip Currents
TONIGHT: Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 64. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming calm after midnight.
SATURDAY: Morning Fog, drizzle possible. Sun and Clouds with a high near 80. East wind 3 to 8 mph.
SATURDAY EVENING: Areas of Fog. A few showers, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind around 7 mph.
SUNDAY: Morning Fog. Mostly cloudy, Warm and Humid. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms, best timing during the afternoon and evening. . High near 80.
SUNDAY EVENING: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low around 69. Some moderate to heavy rain is possible.
MONDAY: Scattered showers and storms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83.
MONDAY EVENING: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69.
TUESDAY: 4TH OF JULY.. Partly sunny, Chance of pop up shower or thunderstorm. High near 84.
