After job postings turned up in several Westchester areas, parents began asking why whoever posted them wants to hire their kids.
The job description entails recording someone while they exercise at home — ostensibly so the images can be used on Instagram. The poster aims to hire teens and young adults for $50 an hour.
One flyer showed up outside Roosevelt High School in Yonkers. No one answered when News 12 called the number listed. It appears to be based in Elmsford.
The number did respond to a text by asking, "What is your name and how old are you?"
Facebook commenters have called the posts "sick" and "disgusting."
News of the flyers reverberated quickly on social media, particularly in Yonkers, Mount Vernon and New Rochelle. Parents also began warning of a similar ad on Craigslist.
Yonkers police say they are investigating the flyers.
