Suffolk police seek driver who struck pedestrian in Huntington Station

They say on Dec. 29, the driver hit a woman who was crossing New York Avenue around 7:10 p.m. just south of Huntington Public Library.

Suffolk police say are looking for the driver involved in a Huntington Station hit-and-run.
They say on Dec. 29, the driver hit a woman who was crossing New York Avenue around 7:10 p.m. just south of Huntington Public Library.
The 39-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The vehicle is described as an older model, gray, four-door sedan -- possibly a Nissan Sentra or Altima.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
