Suffolk police are searching for an armed robbery suspect after a chase in North Babylon late Friday night.
According to police, three men armed with guns approached a woman on Oakridge Circle at 10:40 p.m., grabbed her key fob out of her hand and stole her BMW.
A release from Suffolk police says the “BMW was located on Wicks Avenue in North Babylon at 11:53 p.m. A gun was recovered inside the vehicle.”
Police say Dayne Thomas-Orr was arrested after a foot pursuit and found in possession of a gun. A short time later, Ameer Johnson was arrested.
Police say “the search for additional suspects is continuing.”
Thomas-Orr, of Centereach, and Johnson, of Coram, both 18 years old, face a slew of robbery and weapons charges.
