Police say they are cracking down on drivers who are under the influence on Long Island's roadways this Labor Day weekend.
Suffolk police set up a sobriety checkpoint overnight on Waverly Avenue in Patchogue. Eight people were arrested on charges including DWI and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
