13ds agoSuffolk County officers are being hailed as heroes for saving a mother and daughter who were standing on the edge of an overpass.
News 12 is told the daughter was threatening to jump. Her mother was trying to stop her.
Officer Anthony Ciaramitaro walked along the edge while Officer Tyler Murano comforted the mother and daughter.
Ciaramitaro was able to get the daughter back to safety and Murano was able to do the same for the mother.
