The Suffolk County Department of Health is warning people to stay out of the water at two beaches.
News 12 is told Bayport Beach in Bayport and Tanner Park Beach in Copiague will remain closed until bacterial levels go down.
The county closed both of the sites earlier this month because swimming in bacteria-contaminated water can result in infections.
