The former bouncer of a Holbrook bar has been found guilty of manslaughter for fatally beating a man, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
Prosecutors say David Cruz beat 32-year-old Jack Scott at Tailgaters Sports Bar following an argument on Aug. 21. Cruz covered up security cameras, punched Scott in the head and continued to beat him.
Scott died from his injuries on Sept. 1 after suffering from a brain bleed and skull fracture.
Suffolk District Attorney Ray Tierney says Cruz faces up to 25 years in prison.
Cruz is due back in court next month.
