One person was killed and seven people were injured during an apparent house party shooting in Wyandanch overnight, Suffolk County police say.
The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at a home on Grand Boulevard.
Sources on the scene tell News 12 there was a large party going on when several people were shot. Another person was also stabbed.
Police are not identifying the person that died right now, and say that the other victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police believe the incident was gang-related.
