Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone gave an update Wednesday on the recent confirmed cases of coronavirus in the county.
He said there are now at least six confirmed cases in Suffolk County. The cases are as follows:
Male in his 40s - in isolation at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Male in his early 20s - Town of Brookhaven resident - in isolation at Stony Brook University Hospital Female in her early 20s - in isolation at home in Southold Male in his 80s - in isolation at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center Male in his early 30s - Town of Brookhaven resident - in isolation at Stony Brook University Hospital Male in his late 30s - Town of Brookhaven resident - in isolation at Stony Brook University Hospital
Bellone adds that there are at least 70 people under precautionary quarantine as well. He says those patients returned from trips abroad and do not have symptoms at this time.
