(10/05/06) MEDFORD ? Police say a Medford mother crashed into a utility pole Wednesday night while driving drunk with four children in the car.

Single mom Lanat Goodine, 21, was driving on Station Road with a female adult and four children at the time of the accident. Among those kids was her 2-year-old daughter. Police say the passengers were rushed to Stony Brook Hospital with minor injuries. A temporary order of protection will keep Goodine away from her daughter for the time being.

Goodine is charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She did not make the $7,500 bail.
