A Suffolk County cop is being hailed a hero after he saved a woman from overdosing on drugs in Mastic. Officer Michael Alfieri was on patrol on Squaw Lane last night when he was flagged down by a man whose wife was unresponsive and not breathing.

Officials say the woman had overdosed on drugs.

Alfieri revived the 30-year-old woman by using an intranasal medication.

The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.

This is the second overdose victim Alfieri has saved this month.
