Fines are increasing for Suffolk County retailers that sell nicotine products to anyone under age 21.

Fines are increasing for Suffolk County retailers that sell nicotine products to anyone under age 21.
County Executive Steve Bellone signed the bill into law on Thursday.
First-time violators will now be hit with a $1,000 fine. After that, each infraction costs $2,000.
Suffolk is also considering legislation banning the sale of certain flavors of e-cigarette liquid.
