As COVID-19 vaccine supply continues to fall short of demand, Suffolk County announced the area’s third mass vaccination site.
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone says the site will be at Suffolk County Community College in Selden.
The site will be open tomorrow, and will be specifically for cancer patients, residents with heart conditions and municipal employees with underlying medical conditions.
However, Bellone says there may be a delay in vaccine distribution due to weather conditions across the country.
“The plan to open this vaccination site tomorrow may not happen and could be delayed,” says Bellone.
